The Day of AI Challenge invites students across America to develop innovative AI-powered solutions to real-world problems. This national competition encourages critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration while building essential AI literacy skills.

Projects will be evaluated by a distinguished panel of experts from government, education, and the technology sector:

How to Participate

  1. Register your school: Teachers must register their class or school to participate in the challenge.
  2. Access curriculum materials: Use our grade-appropriate AI curriculum to help students understand AI concepts.
  3. Form student teams: Students work in small groups to identify a problem and develop an AI-powered solution.
  4. Create a project: Teams develop their ideas and create a presentation that explains their solution.
  5. Submit by the deadline: All projects must be submitted by February 13, 2026.
